 We are very excited to announce the formation of the CHES/Coalition National Green Health Care Collaboration. Approved by the CHES Board at last week's annual board meeting, the collaboration will see the Coalition working even more closely with CHES to further the adoption of sustainable health care practices within the Canadian health services sector through the sharing of resources, improved access to to each other's members, and a broader approach to the promotion of sustainable health care best practices. CHES is a founding member of the Coalition and has played a major role in our success. CHES is a national professional association representing approximately 1,000 health care engineers and associates across Canada. They seek to help members better manage the healing environment while promoting a team approach to leadership; mentoring young leaders, promoting competence, and expanding the understanding of sustainable health service delivery through shared environmental stewardship.
